If you see a hot air balloon in the sky, Make a wish. Even if you cant see the people in the passanger basket, wave to them so they can take your wish through the air as they fly.

Hi, my name is Rain / Pei Yin and im currently a student in UWE Bristol, majoring in Graphic Design.
For my final project I will be doing a series of works based on the theme 'Wish'. People, no matter what part of the world they come from or what language they speak have one thing in common, that is to have a wish, a desire or a feeling of longing for something that they currently lack.
Some believe in superstitious methods to achive their wishes, some dont but holds on to their wishes anyway. Others strive to achive their wishes through hardwork and dedication. No matter what methods are used, the goal is always the same: to fulfull a desire.
The purpose of setting up this blog is to document my findings on different methods of making wishes as well as stories related to wishes from cultures all around the world and perhaps encourage those who still believe in a little magic to help them with their wishes. =)
(disclaimer) Most of these wishing methods are taken from "The Wishing Handbook" by Gloria T. Delamar.
